SATA Members (many of whom are known to the airlines as Ticket Acceptance Agreement Operators) are organisations that have been active in student and youth travel for many years, and who over that time, have established preferential relationships with individual air carriers.

SATA members negotiate the terms of SATA tickets with the airline and then provide these products to appointed ticket agents worldwide. Other retail outlets authorised to sell SATA tickets are usually specialist youth or student travel agencies.

Becoming an agent

Retail travel agencies whose business is predominantly student and/or youth travel may be eligible to become a SATA ticket agent.
