The Student Air Travel Association (SATA) carries out the following services on behalf of its members:

• Provides a framework whereby members can promote, sponsor and facilitate the development of ‘Ticket Acceptance Agreements’ with airlines in order to facilitate travel and educational opportunities for students and young people
• Represents members to regulatory authorities on matters of common interest
• Supports technical improvements that facilitate trade amongst members
• Provides information on industry standards and regulations
