The Student Air Travel Association (SATA) was formed in 1969 by the world’s leading student travel organisations to provide flexible and affordable air fares for youth and student travellers.

SATA air fares have been specially negotiated between air carriers and SATA members. Full-time students and under 26 year olds can purchase these tickets using an International Student Identity Card (ISIC) or International Youth Travel Card (IYTC)
